What We Do

What We Do

The Office of Development plans, coordinates and implements fundraising programs among alumni, friends, corporations and foundations. Private gifts are used to fund scholarships as well as many other programs, research, buildings and renovations.

The Office of Development is dedicated to serving the Indiana University Southeast campus to insure the efficient pursuit of private funding as appropriate for all fundraising efforts. The Office of Development serves as the primary contact for all fundraising activities and focuses on the encouragement of alumni and friends who want to make a difference. Cultivating good donor relations and lasting relationships with businesses and friends throughout our community and region is one of our primary goals.

This office works with 140 accounts, through the IU Foundation, providing student scholarships and funding for various programs. We continue to raise dollars for much needed scholarships by working with donors of private philanthropy to the University. The Office is committed to offering exceptional fundraising services, knowledge, and counsel to donors, prospective donors, and the various schools and divisions of the IU Southeast campus. We provide assistance with coordinating fundraising efforts for various campus divisions and work to establish private funding priorities. We offer advice and trends in the philanthropic world which affect organizational priorities. We make every effort to foster good working relationships between Office of Development staff, IU Foundation and each school or department of the campus community.
