Nursing courses are delivered in condensed, seven-week learning modules to
help you progress more quickly through the program.
Credit is awarded for relevant courses taken at other accredited institutions of
higher learning.
Registered nurses receive credit for valid specialty certification from a
professional nursing organization in an appropriate area of nursing.
A maximum of two credit hours may be awarded.
Clinical experiences are completed close to home and can be tailored for your
experience level.
Standards of Performance
Students in the School of Nursing are expected to adhere to standards of
performance and ethics that are the foundation of the nursing profession.
These standards include the IU Southeast Code of Student Rights, Responsibilities
and Conduct; the American Nurses Association Standards of Professional
Performance; The Code of Ethics for Nurses; and IU Southeast School of Nursing
