The Academy for Diversity and Inclusive Education at Indiana University Southeast welcomes all who have registered for the Diversity and Inclusivity Teaching and Research Symposium to be held at IU Southeast in New Albany, Indiana, on October 12, 2013.  We are looking forward to a day of interaction, enlightenment, and sharing about issues that concern diversity and inclusivity.

Those of you who are registered are making travel plans and may be wondering about several things.  First, under the lodging tab, you will find a link to area hotels.  This link provides a fairly accurate assessment of the lodging available in the area.  The closest hotels to our campus are approximately five miles away.

Second, you will be concerned about locating the campus, available parking on campus, and the location of the conference once you are parked.  The address you will use with Google Maps or your GPS will be 4201 Grant Line Rd., New Albany, IN.  For nearly all attendees, you will be accessing Grant Line Road from I-265 which links I-65 and I-64.  The campus is approximately 1/4 mile north of I-265 on Grant Line Road and is on the west side of Grant Line Road.  There are two entrances to campus (both with stoplights) and either entrance will work for you. One is Alumni Drive and the other is Indiana Drive.    If you will click the  link at the bottom of the symposium webpage which says "IU Southeast Map and Directions Webpage" it will take you to a map of the campus.  In the center of the map, look for the letters "UC".  These stand for University Center.  In front of the University Center is the Central Parking Lot, which is labeled #4.  Park in this area.  There will be no charge for parking.  Signs in front of the University Center will direct you to the correct location in the University Center.

Please contact one of the co-directors if you have additional questions.
