Transformations, a new e-publication of the Diversity Academy, exists to raise visibility of, as well as to recognize and celebrate the efforts of IU Southeast faculty, full and part-time, who contribute to the enhancement of diversity, inclusivity, and multicultural education through their teaching, research, and service.
“The Skin You’re In” by English major Stacy Lintz – tells the story of Dr. Seonmin Huh’s decision to spend a year at IU Southeast as a postdoctoral fellow after getting her PhD at IU Bloomington in critical literacy before returning to South Korea to be an educator in ENL at the Foreign Language Center in Pusan.
“The Power in Coming Together” by English graduate Shannon Coomer – tells the inside story of what it was like for faculty to participate in the 2011 Faculty Learning Community on Curriculum Transformation.
