The School of Education offers a program leading to the B. S in elementary education. The elementary education major leads to Indiana's teaching license for K-6. Licensing in Kentucky is also available.

Candidates who pursue a major in Elementary Education will explore a variety of subjects including art, language arts, mathematics, science, social studies and professional education. Graduates have an incredible opportunity to teach young people academic and life skills that will impact generations to come.

The Elementary Education Program prepares individuals to teach in Indiana schools in kindergarten through the sixth grade. Additional course work may be needed to meet certification requirements in Kentucky.
