We welcome K-12 teachers, administrators, school counselors, pre-service teachers, and other individuals working with school-age non-native English speakers to join us in November to learn in schools and classrooms. Scholars and teachers will share best practices, cultural information, and ideas for working with families of English Language Learners in K-12 classroom. All sessions will focus on practical applications.
Conference presenters and attendees are also invited to a pre-conference reception on the evening of Friday, November 11.
This conference is hosted by the Indiana University Southeast School of Education and OELA/New Neighbors Project with support from the Horseshoe Foundation of Floyd County and the Indiana Commission on Hispanic and Latino Affairs.
