Candidates in the Secondary Education Program must select one of the four majors available in Secondary Education: Language Arts, Mathematics, Science (at least one of: Life Science, Physical Science and/or Earth Space Science), or Social Studies (Historical Perspectives and at least two of the following: Government and Citizenship, Psychology, Sociology, Economics, and/or Geographical Perspectives-Human). The most recent  checksheets for each of these majors may be found below. Other advising sheets may apply, so see your Secondary program advisor to be certain.  We also recommend that you see your advisor on a regular basis. Candidates may elect to add other licensing areas to one of the four majors; information about teaching minors may be gotten from your subject area faculty advisor.
