Greetings! We are so glad you have chosen to visit us and learn about the Office of Equity and Diversity.

Our mission is to provide the campus with the means to:

  1. create a discrimination and harassment free environment
  2. increase the diversity in our students, staff, and faculty populations
  3. encourage the value of diversity through education, training, and hiring strategies
  4. act as an information resource and clearing house on equity and diversity issues
  5. Promote confidential, fair, thorough, and responsive treatment for all people.

To get a better sense of how the Office of Equity and Diversity can assist you, please explore our newly developed web page. You will find information on community outreach programs, conferences and workshops, and resources that can best assist you in teaching diversity, as well as informing yourself about diversity related issues.
