IU Southeast awards scholarships to both incoming freshmen and to current students in recognition of academic achievement, leadership, and community service. The scholarships for freshmen are predominantly performance-based (GPA, SAT, ACT, etc.) scholarships.
Some scholarships consider financial need. To ensure the FAFSA is used in the scholarship process it must be received by February 15.
The scholarship application is open from October 1 - March 1. Scholarship recipients are notified by letter in April.
Scholarships at IU Southeast are credited to the student account, usually split equally between fall and spring semesters. They are applied against the balance on the student account and any remaining balance is sent to the student for use for other educational expenses like books, etc.
