To be a successful artist is a formidable undertaking. It requires discipline, hard work, perseverance, and dedication. It is also richly awarding. The goal of the IU Southeast Fine Arts department is to maximize your potential and help you realize your dreams, to challenge you to be the best you can be. It is our objective to give the best and most thorough art education we can provide, and to encourage each student to be the artist he or she aspires to be.

Scholarships available for students in the Fine Arts at IU Southeast include the Martha K. Stem Scholarship in the Visual Arts, a four-year scholarship that includes full tuition, books, and studio materials for an incoming freshman. The Rebecca Jennings Award in the Visual Arts provides financial support for enrolled students and those graduating who intend to pursue a graduate degree.
