Susan Moffett, Professor of Fine Arts, teaches printmaking, drawing
and foundation level color/2D design. She has also taught drawing at
the Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts in Gatlinburg, TN. Moffett received
her BFA at Texas Tech University and her MFA at Northern Illinois University.
Although trained a traditional printmaker, Susan has become increasingly
interested in digital imaging processes since 1997. She has exhibited
digital prints in gallery venues including Colorprint USA, March 2002
where she was a Colorprint Symposium Guest Artist. Moffett has exhibited
regionally and nationally and has participated in several collaborative
artist projects which she finds stimulating as well as challenging.
Her works are in collections such as the Evansville Museum of Arts and
Sciences, the Hyatt Regency, Louisville, and The University of Dallas.
She has received two grants from The Kentucky Foundation for Women and
received the Distinguished Research and Creativity at Indiana University
Southeast in 1994. Moffett is a member of FACET, the Faculty Colloquium
on Excellence in Teaching at Indiana University.
