Getting Started Checklist
- Apply for admission to IU Southeast (only admitted students can live in housing). Visit the Office of Admissions.
- Fill out your FAFSA. If you need help, our Financial Aid Office is happy to assist you.
- Apply for financial aid. 21st Century Scholars and Pell Grant recipients qualify for an application prepayment waiver. Visit Financial Aid for more information.
- Request your roommate or housing preference. Roommate requests and housing preferences can be submitted through the application process but can also be e-mailed to our office at liveon@ius.edu.
- Download your housing application now. Make sure to fill out all of the sections with accurate and detailed information.
- Submit your application with the $175 prepayment to the Bursar’s office.
- Meet the deadline. The priority deadline for new applicants is May 1st.
- Make your choices known. If you have other requests like an LGBTQQI friendly roommate, you want to live with other athletes, or anything else you think we should know, please mark it on your application or contact our office to discuss possible options.
- Keep an eye out. Room assignments will occur in early July. You will receive a letter informing you of your assignment and roommates for the Fall in early July, so please check your mail frequently.
