[Interviewer]
Have you ever shared a room with somebody before?

[Charity]
When I was little but not recently, so I'll get used to it.

[Interviewer]
Did you all know each other before you came here?

[John]
We had talked on the phone before but other that that, I found out he was my roommate when he called me up.

[Amzey]
Right.

[Coreen]
I'm in a room that's two bedroom / four people, and we all kind of got together on Facebook and were like, "Well, what's people bringing?" you know, so we don't have like eight million pots and pans lying around.

[Madelaine]
It was kind of between who was on this side [points to her right] and who was on this side [points to her left].

[Megan]
And who to bring what bathroom stuff and then the kitchen and the TV and everything else.

[Madelaine]
Yeah.

[Interviewer]
Are you nervous about anything?

[John]
No, he seems like a pretty nice guy so...

[Amzey]
He seems decent - [he smiles] no, I'm kidding. No, it a- all the guys seem nice, I mean I think we'll work pretty cohesive together.

[Interviewer]
How do the two of you plan on being active around campus and to be involved?

[Brett]
I plan on doing about as much things as I possibly can, keep busy, make sure I don't put on that freshmen fifteen.

[Charity]
I want to get out. I mean, know people, get to know friends, meet new friends, I like being an outgoing person.

[John]
Hopefully this weekend we don't have a whole lot going on so hopefully we can get to know each other. You know, watch TV out there, play games, or get to know people out in the lodge and get to know everybody I guess. That would be great.

[Interviewer]
What's the one item that you had to bring today?

[Brett]
TV, of course!

[Kayla]
My clothes? I definitely have to have my clothes.

[Beverly]
Schoolbooks.

[Kayla]
Oh, that's a good one. Yeah, schoolbooks. That's a biggie.

[Amzey]
For me it's my guitar. I play guitar religiously and I love it.

[John]
Yeah, probably my keyboard for me. I play the piano so I brought my keyboard with me.

[Interviewer]
So this is going to be the loud room.

[Amzey]
[Laughter] Yes.

[Cameraman]
Are you guys going to start a band?

[Amzey]
You never know. [Laughter] We could be the band that starts in college and makes it big. [Laughter]
