Visiting Assistant Professor of Mathematics (School of Natural Sciences)

The School of Natural Sciences at IU Southeast seeks applicants for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor in a Mathematics position beginning August 1, 2014.

Candidates with a Ph.D. in mathematics will be preferred, but candidates who are ABD will be considered.  The candidate must have demonstrated excellence in teaching undergraduate mathematics.

Responsibilities include teaching a range of undergraduate mathematics courses and service to the university.  Courses taught may include the calculus sequence, introductory linear algebra, and history of mathematics.  The teaching load will be 12 credit hours per semester.  Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
