Special Qualifications: Financial Accounting, Government/Non-Profit Accounting, and auditing
Minimum Academic Preparation: M.B.A. or Masters in Accountancy or equivalent from an AACSB-accredited institution.
Desired Academic Preparation: N/A, although candidates with a Ph.D. or who are ABD in accounting from an AACSB accredited institution would be considered.
Minimum Experience: CPA required with a minimum of 7 years relevant work experience in the accounting field. As the successful candidate will be responsible for teaching primarily upper level and some graduate accounting courses 10 years or more experience in public and private accounting practice is preferred.
Brief Description: Visiting lecturer in accounting for the Fall 2013 academic semester to teach intermediate accounting and auditing and engage in service related to these activities. There are no research or administrative requirements.
Other: Fall Semester only. The appointment runs from August 1, 2013 through December 31, 2013. Should a candidate with a Ph.D. or who is ABD in accounting be available the salary cap is not negotiable for this position.
