Hours: 15-19 per week
Work Times: Flexible schedule between the hours of 8:00 am - 2:30 pm Monday - Thursday

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and provide information to visitors in a friendly, professional manner
  • Create and maintain reports, training materials, bulletin board, website, etc.
  • Assist with special projects related to legal and university policy compliance
  • Event planning and coordination is needed to help promote cultural awareness
  • Maintain budget, process financial documents, travel arrangements, supply orders, etc.
  • Prepare emails, letters, and confidential correspondence and maintain filing system
  • Complete other administrative duties as assigned
  • Sedentary work: sitting for extended periods; ability to lift 10 pounds

Job Qualifications: Must be a mature, self-motivated, self-starter with an intrinsic desire to promote the ethics, human rights and fairness for all campus community members.  Must possess the desire to gain knowledge, understanding and respect and for the department mission (see website: www.ius.edu/EqDiv/).  The successful candidate should have the ability to exercise good time management skills, take initiative and work independently. Demonstrated grammar, spelling and proofreading ability is critical. Knowledge of university systems (i.e. OneStart, Kuali, etc.), office equipment, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook is preferred.

Salary: $13.00 per hour (no benefits)
