Overview
More than 100 classrooms at IU Southeast are permanently equipped with a full array of AV equipment. To see what is permanently installed in any room--and view that room's operating instructions--simply visit our Classrooms with Permanent AV page.
If you're scheduled in a room that doesn't contain the equipment you need, IT will deliver equipment to your class.

How to Reserve Equipment
The Reservation Application is for classroom use only. IT, formerly Media Services, once allowed checkout of other types of A/V equipment for short term use, but the Library has taken over our checkout program. Please contact the Library circulation desk to inquire about checkout procedures at (812)941-2485. To reserve classroom equipment just click the "Reserve Equipment Now!" button. Fill in your request and submit it. You'll receive an e-mail confirmation of your "pending" submission and a second e-mail confirmation when your order is approved and placed on the delivery schedule.
The equipment will be delivered directly to your classroom by one of our technicians. You must be a member of the IU Southeast faculty or Full-time staff to use this service.
Note:This application uses the IU Central Authentication Service (CAS) to provide login access. Please view the IU Knowledge Base for more information on CAS.
AV Equipment Reservation Policy
- IT requires 48 hours advance notice to fulfill equipment requests. The request is placed on the daily delivery schedule and handled as a routine setup. Equipment availability is first-come, first-served.
- Only faculty members may request equipment, even if the equipment will be used by a student in class.
- IT equipment is for on-campus use only. It is not insured for off-campus use. Faculty may reserve some portable equipment from ILTE that is insured while off campus.
- Please do not take AV equipment from any room or hallway without permission. You will be robbing your colleagues of equipment they have requested.
- The primary purpose of the AV equipment pool is to support classrooms.
