Food and Drink Policy

* Food is permitted only in the vending area.

Drinks are allowed in the library, but only in approved containers:

• Plastic bottles with lids
• Heavy plastic cups with secure lids
• Bean Street hot coffee cups with lids (These are the white cups, not the clear ones.)

Fast food drink cups are not permitted.

* The library will occasionally host receptions, conferences, and other special events for which food may be ordered. This is permitted on a case-by-case basis, and permission must be granted by the library director.

Cell Phone Policy

Set your cell phone to vibrate upon entering the Library. If you must take a call, please do so in one of the following areas:

• Outside the building
• Vending area
• Rear stairwell
• Empty group study room (with the door closed)

Quiet Zone Policy

The bottom (first) floor of the Library is reserved for Quiet Study. If you are doing work which requires conversation, please go to another area of the Library so that those desiring a quiet environment for their study may use this floor.
