Getting Started
If you are new to the IUS Library, this is where to learn the basics - where to go and what to do to start your research. To orient yourself to the essential places in the Library, take the Beginner's Tour. From Getting Started you can also learn the basics of finding books (using IUCAT) and articles using (EBSCOHOST Academic Search), as well as how to check out and return materials.
Ask a Librarian
Students, faculty, and staff of IUS may ask one of our Librarians a question online. While we cannot do your research, we can answer a quick question for you, and we can help you find the most efficient way to get the information you need.
Library Technology
The Library has student computer workstations on every floor, and wireless access is available throughout. All you need to access the campus network from these workstations are your IUS username and password. For more information about available technology, visit the Library Technology page.
Adaptive Technology Center
The purpose of the ATC is to help people with disabilities of all ages throughout the community enhance their lives and increase their independence and productivity through the use of leading-edge technology.
TILT & Course Tutorials
TILT, our information literacy tutorial, is part of the Library component of the First Year Seminar, and is designed to introduce you to research sources and skills. We also have online resource tutorials tailored to specific courses you may take.
