Recommended Preparation

The best preparation is to follow the mainstream of mathematics courses offered in high school. Students find it extremely beneficial to have at least two years of algebra and a year of geometry before they enter the IU Southeast program.

College-bound high school students should keep in mind that lower-level algebra courses do not count toward the mathematics concentration requirement at IU Southeast, although some of these courses do count toward graduation.
