IU Southeast Concert Band annual

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE NEW ALBANY, Ind. — The Music Department at Indiana University Southeast will present the IU Southeast Concert Band on Sunday, February 10 at 3:00pm in the Richard K. Stem Concert Hall of the Paul W. Ogle Cultural and Community Center on the IU Southeast campus, 4201 Grant Line Road in New Albany. Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for students, seniors, IU Southeast faculty & staff, and are available at the Ogle Center ticket office or by calling (812) 941-2526.
Under the
direction of Philip Thomas, the program will include: SUPERMAN SUITE FOR CONCERT BAND by John Williams (arranged by Bob
Lowden), AMAZING GRACE arranged by Jay Dawson, SUMMER OF '69: THE
MUSIC OF WOODSTOCK arranged by Ted Ricketts, ST. LOUIS BLUES by
W. C. Handy and arranged by Luther Henderson, and SELECTIONS FROM LES
MISÉRABLES by Claude-Michel Schonberg, arranged by Warren Baker.
Also on the program will be AN UNENDING LEGACY by Barry Milner and
performed in remembrance of Donald McMahel, longtime director of the
IU Southeast Concert Band and legendary music educator who passed away in
