NEW ALBANY, April 2 — The IU Southeast Music Department will present
the IU Southeast Concert Band in a Spring Concert concert on Sunday,
April 13, 2014 at
3 p.m. in
the Richard K. Stem Concert Hall of the Paul W. Ogle Cultural and
Community Center on the IU Southeast campus, 4201 Grant Line Road in
New Albany. Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for
students, seniors, IU Southeast faculty & staff, and are available
at the Ogle Center ticket office, by calling (812) 941-2526, or
online at ius.edu/oglecenter.
Under the baton of director Philip A. Thomas, the program will include:
NITRO by Frank Tichelli, THREE JUNES by IU Southeast
adjunct lecturer in music, Dr. Timothy Miller, SECOND SUITE IN F
by Gustav Holst, COUNTRY GARDENS
by Percy Grainger, and FINALE FROM SYMPHONY NO. 5 by Dmitri
Shostakovich, transcribed by Charles B. Righter.
Free parking is available in the Dogwood lot (directly in front
of the Ogle Center) only. Vehicles parked in other areas may
be subject to ticketing.
