What is Physics?
Physics is the study of the physical universe from the largest galaxies
to the smallest subatomic particles and is the bedrock of science. Because it is the most fundamental
science it is the basis for all the other physical sciences such as
chemistry, computer science, biology, geology, oceanography, and
astronomy. The concepts of physics are applicable to all of the physical
world and are the basis for much of our technology such as cell phones,
computers, the Internet and alternative energy.
