NEW BUSINESS

  • Staff Council sponsors a tour of the Sanders Lab on 4/16 at 11:10am and 11:40am

    • Planning a tour of the Residence Life lodges after students move out for summer

       

  • IT hosting “hands on” classes to use IU Box on 4/25 at 9:30am and 11:00am

 

  • Staff Council is discussed the Legacy Award to recognize clerical, technical and service maintenance staff for contributions to carry out the campus’s mission and core.  Responses have been few.  Committee will review and evaluate the responses that have been received and report at next meeting. 

 

  • Chancellor Wallace is open to thoughts and ideas to conduct a market study of staff salaries.   

     

  • Human Resources director candidates will have open sessions for all staff.  Please attend and offer your feedback and suggestions. 

     

  • Staff Council will be distributing “New employee welcome letters” each month to greet new employees and make them aware of Staff Council.

 

  • Look for emails to nominate your Staff Council members.  We appreciate your participation and nominations. 

     

  • The Hoosier Room has been reserved for fundraiser event October 7th and 8th.  More information will be coming.

     

  • Congratulations to Troy Hornung for Meeting Minutes reader; and Roger McClellan for Staff Council Survey winner

 

With no further business, the meeting was adjourned.  The next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, April 15, at 11:30
