Local businesses and vendors offer discounts to IUS employees. If you know of any discounts we have omitted from our list please email them to us at sestaff@ius.edu

Sherwin Williams - They have discounted the various types of paint already in their system for IUS. Each item has a “specific price”. Between the actual cost and the IUS “cost” we get anywhere between 40% - 50% off. (IUS ID required).

Enterprise - IUS employees, faculty, and alumni gets what is called “Best Rate Program” which is 10% off airline reservations and 5% off non airport reservations. The account to use when booking the reservations is 58B1333

Pacers and Racers shoes – will give a 10% discount to employees ONLY of IUS.

Verizon Wireless - 15% monthly discount provided to Faculty and Staff only on qualified rate plans ($34.99 per month or higher); corporate pricing on equipment, accessory discounts available when qualifications are met. Contact Jarod Turner at Verizon Wireless at 317-409-3001 or by email at: jarod.turner@verizonwireless.com. Employee identification will be required to obtain this discount. Existing Verizon Wireless customers may call 1-866-456-7892 to have the discount added to their current accounts.

Sprint - Sprint offers a 15% discount. If you have any questions the sales rep to contact is John Sandknop at the Clarksville store, 812.282.0400. All you had to do to receive the discount is show him your IUS ID and driver’s license.

U-A-Carry-Out-A - 10% discount to students, faculty and staff

Big O’ Tires - They offer several service discounts – more info. available at the store

Hotels - IUS employees can ask for the government rate when they are making hotel reservations. Most hotels have a certain number of rooms blocked out for the government rate. When you check in, you are usually asked to show your IUS ID card to verify that you work at a University.

Ford Motor Company - IU faculty and staff are eligible for discounts on new Ford vehicles. Access the Ford Partner Recognition Program using the partner code INDIU at the Ford Partner website www.Fordpartner.com or call 1-877-xplan-00. When you are ready to generate a Personal Identification Number (PIN), click on the "PINs" tab and select "Generate a PIN". The system will create a PIN for you to take to your local dealership. Also, you will need to provide proof that you work for IU to the dealership (ID card, paycheck, W-2, badge).
