Secretary Bev Biggs reported that the minutes of the last meeting were approved by all Staff Council members via email and then sent to all staff prior to the meeting.

| PARKING SPACE PROBLEMS:
The meeting will take place on March 31 and will be reported on at the next meeting.

| SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION & UPDATE: The application will be put on the Staff Council web page and will be available May 1. Deadline for fall classes is May 31 and will be decided on at the June meeting. If it is decided to award another scholarship for the spring semester, that deadline will be October 30.

| FUND RAISING: Fund raising suggestions were: flowers at Easter such as the carnations at Valentines, Silent Auction, Cookbook, a booth at the Balloon Lift-Off at Harvest Homecoming. After discussion it was decided that we would have one fall fundraising event to compliment the spring style show. Bev Biggs will try to get information about a cookbook and Rebecca Beardsley will look into the possibility of getting a permit for a raffle.

| STYLE SHOW: We have sold over 200 tickets (160 last year) for the show. Table decorations will be done at 4:30 on Thursday, and helpers are needed. Next year, it was suggested that the show not be right before spring break. President Norvell thanked everyone for selling tickets and to Janey Loney, whose leadership has proven invaluable in making this such a success.
