Steven Clark and Charlotte Dubois are working on the
distribution of a Spring treat to all Clerical, Service Maintenance and
Technical Staff. Some assembly may be required. Assembly will occur at next
Staff Council Meeting.
Discussed the upcoming Diversity Task Force meeting. A
Staff Information Session will be held on Friday, march 23, 2007 from 11:00
a.m. till noon in the Upper-Level reading room at the Library. Steven Clark
urged all staff members to attend this event.
C-bag Meeting Update – plans are to finalize the document
within the next week. After the items have been finalized/approved, Steven
Clark will discuss with the group.
Chancellor’s Executive Meeting Update – discussed the
upcoming Diversity Task Force meeting.
There was a discussion on the Staff Retreat. Steven Clark
was asked to check on the timing/frequency of this event. Also, the question
was raised as to whether or not the Staff Retreat Committee had met. Lesley
Deal suggested holding two sessions – one in the afternoon and one in the
morning in order to accommodate schedules.
Trudy Walter stated that she is taking donations for Relay
for Life.
Discussions were ongoing regarding staff
training/development. Steven Clark was asked to chat with Ann Lee to obtain
clarification on the Job Classification System.
This month's gift certificate winner to Buffalo Madison
Coffee was Juli Crecelius. Congrats!
Please note that all the remaining Staff Council Meetings
have been rescheduled to meet in the Library Building – Room #230.
