Poster/Presentation Judging Rubric

Posters, oral presentations, and performances are judged in 4 areas for a total of 20 points:

  1. Content (6 points)
    Conceptual organization, clear introduction of topic, main points clear and fully supported in presentation/poster, central idea reinforced in conclusion, analysis of information.
  2. Format (6 points)
    Visual organization, proper use of figures and illustrations, clarity of figures and illustrations, proper use of sentence structure, usage, vocabulary and word choice.
  3. Ability to answer questions (4 points)
  4. Professionalism (4 points)
    Comfortable giving paper/poster and effective use of eye contact, body movements, and vocal quality.

The People’s Choice Award will be given to the student project receiving the most votes as the favorite of the audience.
