Grievance Process and Form

The following guidance and two links provide helpful information regarding the IU Southeast Grievance/Complaint Procedures.

Grievance Process Chart

The Grievance Process Chart helps you determine the appropriate office to initiate your complaint and also identifies the steps in the complaint process.

  • Review the boxes in the second column and locate the topic/issue you wish to address.
  • Once you’ve identified the box that includes your topic/issue, follow the arrow to the right to determine the person you need to contact.

Grievance Process Form

The Grievance Process Form is the official complaint form on which you provide information about the issue and your requested or desired outcome. The form also provides a list of grievable issues and campus resource persons available to you.

Please note that in accordance with federal regulations, IU Southeast is required to share summary information about complaints with its accrediting agency, the Higher Learning Commission, as part of the reaccreditation process. Individual identities of those who have filed a complaint will not be provided.
