University Communications can help you publicize events and make campus-wide announcements via internal vehicles, including the video bulletin boards, the student newspaper, and the weekly student e-mail, the Planet.
University Communications also monitors the University Event Calendar that is managed by the Office of Campus Life. This calendar allows you to publicize your event on the University home page. Please consult the policies and procedures for using the event calendar.
Generating media coverage for your event often requires special expertise. High-profile visitors may have security concerns and reporters may have particular equipment or seating needs. University Communications regularly partners with offices across campus to ensure that these issues are addressed early in the planning stage.
