Dr. Erich Stem’s music has been described as “sophisticated and intriguing” (Washington Post) and “unique and beautiful” (Boston Theatre Review) and has been performed by groups throughout the U.S. and Europe. Stem has won IU Southeast honors such as the Distinguished Research and Creativity Award and acceptance into FACET (Faculty Colloquium on Excellence in Teaching). Stem is the founder of New Dynamic Records and can be seen talking about the label in the documentary, Music of Our Time (on YouTube).
