Growing up in China, I received my PhD in history from University of Illinois, Urbana-champaign, in 1996. I've been teaching at IU Southeast - a wide range of courses, from American history to history of China and Japan; from US diplomatic relations to Asian culture and society. I've led tours in China with IUS students in the summers of 2008 and 2009.

Education: PhD in hitory, University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Fulbright Scholar, 2010, South Korea
