Student Disciplinary Procedures

The Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs is responsible for student disciplinary procedures relating to student personal misconduct. Any student who engages in conduct prohibited by University regulations, including sexual offenses, will be subject to University sanctions up to and including suspension and expulsion.

Disciplinary procedures for personal misconduct may be disposed of either through an informal or formal process. During the formal hearing, the accused and the accuser will be entitled to due process rights including being represented by an advisor or counsel and presenting witnesses and their cross examination. Both parties will be informed of the University's final determination of the alleged offense and any sanctions imposed against the accused.

Detailed information may be found in the University publication, "Code of Student Rights, Responsibilities, and Conduct."
