The Higher Learning Commission Accreditation

Indiana University Southeast is accredited through the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) and is in the process of an extensive internal study process. This effort is in preparation for the HLC site-visit in 2019-2020 where the University hosts a visiting team from the Higher Learning Commission.

This page provides newsletters with updates to and information about how this process is conducted. The Assurance Argument provides evidence showing that IU Southeast is fulfilling our responsibilities to educate.

IU Southeast was first accredited on July 25, 1969, and its most recent reaffirmation of accreditation was in 2009 - 2010.
