Advising Center for Exploratory Students

Mission Statement

The Advising Center for Exploratory Students (ACES) strives to empower and encourage students with the skills and tools necessary to explore, identify and declare their true-fit major to progress to graduation.

If you are:

  • Wondering what major is best for you
  • Having second thoughts about the major you have chosen
  • Questioning what your academic studies are preparing you for in terms of future employment, graduate or professional school

Then you're in the right place!

The Advising Center for Exploratory Students exists to help students just like you discover what they are interested in and how those interests can translate into majors that they are excited about pursuing.

By working with ACES you will have the opportunity to work with qualified staff members that are specialized in assisting students that are unsure of their major. ACES has access to an abundant number of resources that can help guide students confidently towards declaring their major.

Students find that after working with ACES they are less likely to switch their major since they took the time to explore their interests and strengths. This not only saves them time and money but it also helps them find a major that they are actually excited about pursuing.

So if you are unclear as to what major you want to pursue or you are not sure that your current major is the right fit then stop by and let ACES assist you in achieving your academic goals.
