The Grenadier Experience is a 4-day program that is all about exposing you to the ins and outs of being a successful college student at Indiana University Southeast. The goal is to help you feel more prepared for your first semester of college and beyond!
The Grenadier Experience Summer Bridge Program will help ease your transition to college life and build a foundation for academic success. You will participate in experiences that focus on academic and social enrichment at the college level.

Check in on Sunday from 2 p.m. - 5 p.m.
Programming begins Sunday at 5 p.m. and ends Thursday at 5 p.m.
$85 - Food and lodging will be covered for the time you are on campus.

During the Grenadier Experience Summer Bridge program, you will engage in a variety of daily hands-on academic sessions that related to the major areas of study (Science, Nursing, Education, Social Sciences, Business and the Arts). You will get to interact with a variety of different professors who you may encounter in your regular courses as you pursue your degree.
During this experience, you will make new friends, learn about the campus, and interact with professors and staff. This experience will allow you to participate in activities that will expose you to different academic schools on the campus.
You will also get a step ahead for the Fall semester by becoming familiar with the wide spectrum of resources that are available to ensure college success. You will get to experience CANVAS – the system most professors use for their classes at IUS and prevent feeling lost or overwhelmed when the first day of your classes begin.
You will also experience FUN hands on activities! You may work in a butterfly garden or tie dye t-shirts or make paper with some professors and staff. You may participate in a chemistry experiment or play volleyball with newly found friends. The experience will also culminate in a special dinner to celebrate you and your accomplishments across the course of your stay. You will experience a career event where you get to talk to professionals about what your specific interests are.
