Dr. Finkel has spent the better part of her career studying twins to uncover the roles that genes and the environment play in making us who we are, in particular how it affects the aging process.

We have partnered with Flat12 Bierwerks, a family friendly venue. There will be door prizes at each game featuring great IU items. Owner Sean O'Connor, an IU Alum, will offer one complimentary beer or soft drink to each person present if IU is leading by double digits at half-time.

From the progenitors of Rock & Roll in the 1940s, through the glory years of the ‘50s, ‘60s, and ‘70s, up until MTV in the early ‘80s, Neil Berg’s 50 Years of Rock & Roll uses fascinating stories and groundbreaking music, with tributes to such important and iconic rock stars as Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Elvis Presley, Ray Charles, Buddy Holly, Bob Dylan, Frankie Valli, The Beatles, Beach Boys, Aretha Franklin, Janis Joplin, Simon & Garfunkel, Carole King, Elton John, Stevie Wonder, Billy Joel, Linda Ronstadt, Bruce Springsteen, Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, and others!

School of Education Advance to Teaching Advising Session

Do you hold a bachelor's degree in a field other than teacher education, but wish to teach in secondary schools? Our "Advance to Teaching" post-baccalaureate certificate leads to teaching licensure for grades 5-12 in one of 17 content areas: economics, French, journalism, language arts, mathematics, physics, psychology, reading, life science, earth/space science, physical science, chemistry, historical perspectives, government and citizenship, geographical perspectives, sociology and Spanish. Completing the "A2T" program and passing all required Indiana Department of Education exams will earn candidates an Indiana teaching license. Applicants interested in pursuing the Advance to Teaching program must attend an advising session. Please RSVP to Dr. Gloria Murray, Advance to Teaching Coordinator for the School of Education Secondary program at FYI- Please plan for paying for parking when you arrive. There are permit dispensers in the parking lots at various locations. Daily Permits are $2.00.
