The certificate in multimedia production provides comprehensive instruction in production and writing techniques for the multimedia platform.

The 18-hour certificate contains a core curriculum of 12 hours made up of courses from Journalism, Fine Arts, Writing and Music. An additional 6 hours of electives from these and other departments allow students to customize the certificate to his/her own needs.

All courses and prerequisites fulfilling the certificate must be completed with a grade of C or higher.

Overall GPA for the certificate must be 3.0.

University Residency Requirement

Students must complete 50% of the required credit hours for a certificate in residence at IU Southeast. Some departments may have additional Residency requirements.

Multimedia Production Specific Residency Requirement

No additional residency requirement for the Certificate in Multimedia Production.
