Digital Recording Clinic

The IU Southeast Arts Institute is collaborating with TNT Productions to provide a Digital Recording Clinic that combines the best of both worlds; live instrument recording and music creation using computer based virtual instruments. Half of each day will be spent in the IU Southeast Pro Tools lab, learning to create tracks using virtual instruments, Pro Tools editing and mixing.

The other half of the day will be spent in the Steifler Recital Hall studio, recording live instruments like piano, guitar, bass, drums and vocals.

By the end of the week, you will have created a music composition completely in the digital domain and recorded another with live instruments. This comprehensive approach will give the recording enthusiast a wide ranging experience in the recording world in just one week.
