Professional Interests

Teaching

Tiffany Carbonneau founded and heads the Digital Art area in the Fine Arts Program at IU Southeast.  The Digital Art degree path allows students to learn digital processes such as video, photography, web design, projection mapping, and motion based interactivity, while exploring and developing their voices as individual artists and cultural producers.  An emphasis on software and hardware skill development is balanced with in-depth examination of the meaning of digital still and moving images in contemporary culture and individualized pursuit of artistic expression.

In this young program, majors have been included in international and national film festivals, started local commercial and creative photography and videography businesses, exhibited in local and regional exhibitions, and been accepted into prestigious Masters of Fine Art graduate programs.

Research

Tiffany Carbonneau uses specialized software and hardware to create large scale public video projections that engage with architecture and current and historical contexts specific to each exhibition site.

Hobbies/Interests

Tiffany enjoys traveling, renovating her historic home, sewing, cooking and woodworking.  She loves animals, especially her two dogs, Crunch and Oliver, and her cat, Triscuit.
