Biography
Musical Theatre Dance, and Chorographer.
Barb studied at the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music and has been singing and dancing professionally since age 16. She has choreographed more than 200 professional productions and concerts including: CATS, 42ND STREET, SINGIN IN THE RAIN, THE MUSIC MAN. Directing credits include: FOREVER PLAID, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, OKLAHOMA and many more! Favorite roles include: Cassie in A CHORUS LINE, Lola in DAMN YANKEES and Nugget Rialto in CLUB MOROCCO, A show she co-wrote with partner Jon Huffman. Her talents have been displayed at KENTUCKY OPERA as the choreographer for SHOW BOAT opening Feb.2016, Derby Dinner Playhouse- resident choreographer from 1985 to 2006, The Encore Musical Theatre Co.- Resident Director/Choreographer from 2006 to 2014, Actors Theatre of Louisville, a well as dozens of theatres across the country. Barb teaches private classes as Co-Artistic Director of Vault1031 as well as Musical Theatre Dance at Indiana University Southeast.
