Biography

Dr. Yeoh takes on projects both inside and outside of the classroom which not only benefits his students but works across program and department lines.  This collaboration is evidenced by his work with Michael Abernathy in Strategic Communications (formerly Advertising) to start a student-run Ad Agency here at IU Southeast and with Advisor Greg Roberts, using his students to spearhead a new design for Arts & Letters Program 4" x 9" rack cards to help with marketing and promotion.

As the head of the Graphic Design program who manages the Design Center, a graphic design studio, Dr. Yeoh also serves as one of the advisors for the FOUR201, a student-based advertising agency set up with the Communication Program at IUS.  He is a council member for Service Learning and Community Engagement of IU Southeast. Dr Yeoh has served as one of the conference judges for poster presentation since the 12th Annual Undergraduate Student Conference at IU Southeast in April 2016.

In addition to publishing in design-related journals, he has actively participated in several international exhibitions in Australia, China, England, Samoa, South Korea, Turkey, and the USA.
