Biography
As the Career Coach for the College of Business and the College of Education, Amber focuses on career planning, resumes and cover letters, interview skills, and networking strategies. In addition, she also serves as an Employer Liaison, connecting students and alumni with companies in the local community and nationwide.
Previously, Amber worked in Portland, Oregon for the web development school, Epicodus as an Admissions and Career Counselor as well as the Homeless Veterans Reintegration Program as an Employment Counselor. These positions allowed her to focus on her interest in education and empowerment and work with diverse populations ranging from veterans to career changers to individuals with disabilities. While in Portland, she served on the TechTown Diversity Committee and was a member of PDX Women in Tech. She is excited to explore similar opportunities in the Louisville Metro area.
