Lydia Lum is an award-winning journalist who has covered many stories of our modern time. She has interviewed high-profile figures such as Kamala Harris early in her political ascent and responded to breaking news such as the 1996 Olympic Park bombing in Atlanta that resulted in the FBI falsely accusing Richard Jewell. Lydia has been a newspaper reporter at dailies such as the Houston Chronicle and a freelance writer, editor, and PR consultant for national magazines and other organizations. Lydia has taught journalism at San Francisco State University and at Foothill College. Many of her former students have had internships and jobs in journalism, TV news, and digital media. Lydia earned her master of mass communication from South Dakota State University in May 2021 and holds a bachelor's in journalism from the University of Texas at Austin.
