  • Students who are studying or working on campus after Nov. 20
  • Employees whose work requires them to be regularly present on campus between Dec. 1, 2020, and March 1, 2021

(Note: This interim policy does not apply to commercial delivery services whose presence on campuses is considered a short duration to deliver materials, food, or mail.)

Flu vaccine clinics at IU

Flu vaccine clinics will be offered at every IU campus this fall. The clinics will be for current IU employees and enrolled students. They are not open to dependents or spouses of employees or students, or to retired faculty or staff.

Schedule an appointment

Vaccine clinics at additional IU campuses will be added in the coming days.

  1. Schedule an appointment online for all campuses.
  2. Choose "Same-Day Appointments" or "Future Appointments" depending on when you would like to schedule.
  3. Confirm that your information is correct. (If not, select "No" and update your information.)
  4. If you have insurance, upload your insurance information (including a photo of both the front and back of your insurance card.) If you do not have insurance, select "No Insurance/Other Not Listed." Note: The online scheduler only accepts image files (e.g., .jpg, .png, .tiff) and does not accept PDF files.
  5. On the "Select a facility" screen, select "IU Flu Shots Clinic" and then select your campus.
  6. On the "Select a provider" screen, select "First Available" option and you will see a list of available appointment times on the dates they are offered. Scroll through the calendar to see appointment options on available dates.
  7. Confirm your appointment date/time/location.

Note: You may cancel or reschedule your appointment within one hour of the appointment time. You may be asked to show ID at your appointment, and masks are required. You'll also need to wear something that allows access to your upper arm.

Reporting your vaccination at a non-IU clinic

If you choose to receive a flu vaccine somewhere other than an IU flu clinic or campus health center, you will need to fill out the Flu Vaccine Reporting Form to let IU know you have received a vaccination.
