Description
Flexible Materials, Inc. is seeking outstanding candidates for the position of AutoCAD/Excel Project Coordinator.

Flexible Materials, Inc. is a specification-driven wood veneer company specializing in providing architectural panels, wood veneer sheets, and wood edge banding to the woodworking industry. We operate in Jeffersonville, IN and are locally owned. We have been in business since 1929.

Essential Functions
- Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- The ability to understand blueprints, consult with contractors, and/or customers to determine how our manufacturing processes can meet their requirements.
- Analyze quotes from sales to ensure the cost and yields are in line with customer expectations.
- Determine raw materials required for each project optimizing each component to control cost.
- Understand three dimensional thinking. Be able to understand end matching and side matching of veneer sheets and/or panels.
- Understand capacity planning, material requirements and time required to produce product to meet ship dates.
- Communicate shipping and packing requirements to production.
- Answer alteration, schedule change, or cancellation requests from Sales.
- Review work in process and adjust schedules accordingly.
- Interface with sales and purchasing departments on material status and production planning issues.
- Understand the manufacturing process, by at times actively working with and consulting with production managers and personnel to gain and share information.

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must be self-motivated, organized, detail oriented, and able to focus on multiple projects at once.
- Must have working knowledge of Excel; experience with AutoCAD a plus.
Possess solid analytical skills in forecasting and anticipating production needs and capabilities.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations under stress.
- Strong interpersonal skills requiring the ability to resolve conflicting interests and obtain cooperation.

Qualifications
Bachelors or Associates degree and/or 1 to 2 years of experience in a production planning/materials control function or a broad based manufacturing background.
