Description

The Part Time Rental Coordinator Assistant is responsible for coordination of the daily activities of the equipment rental fleet. Responsibilities include assigning and scheduling rental equipment to maximize utilization and profitability, while ensuring that the jobs expectations are consistently and satisfactorily met. The Rental Coordinator gathers information and answers questions regarding equipment availability and specifications. They have a close working relationship with the rental and lease managers.


- Answer incoming rental related calls; maintain call log
- Qualify customer's needs with rental equipment availability; assist in educating customers on equipment specifications, safety concerns and proper use of the equipment
- Initiate and maintain rental contracts accurately and timely
- Acquire required information needed for credit department to approve payment terms
- Obtain proof of required insurance from customer's insurance company
- Assist other Rental Coordinators and Salesman in maximizing the utilization of rental inventory within the company
- Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures
- Assist with both checking out and in trucks as they are returned to facility. This would include review of the unit for any damage and customer concerns.

Hours: Expected hours are 4 hours each afternoon. Flexible schedules can be arranged.


Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED
- Basic math and computer skills
- Strong organizational skills with focus on attention to detail
- Excellent Verbal communication and follow-up skills
- Drug Screening and Background check required
