The Office for Community Engagement is a place to connect Indiana University Southeast to the community. We coordinate and support opportunities for faculty and students to learn, serve and work with community partners throughout the Southern Indiana region and beyond. We are about helping people find resources and support that will help expand one’s knowledge of service-learning and community engagement. It is a place to explore and become involved in increasing community engagement and economic development of the region. We are about building and developing partnerships that empower people and communities. The bottom line is that the office is here to help you have an impact.

We believe that together people can achieve impressive things for our region. We can do that by increasing student engagement through service-learning an civic engagement, scholarly/creative activities. There are many great and important service-related work going on at Indiana University Southeast and in the community. We want to enhance current endeavors and develop programs, research, and resources that are educationally meaningful and full of impact. Perhaps you want to volunteer, integrate service learning into a course, establish a community-campus partnership, or conduct research or assessment in or with the community. We are here to help you.
