There are campus, regional, state and national engagement opportunities available to faculty, staff, community members, and students. Students can volunteer in the community through the Office of Campus Life. Several undergraduate and graduate courses, (some with pre-requisites’) are available to students. Programs focused on college students are located at the Indiana Campus Compact website and at the Campus Compact national site.

Align Southern Indiana is a regional community engagement opportunity to make a difference in the region. A new regional initiative, Align Southern Indiana, brings together community leadership and representation from Southern Indiana’s Clark, Floyd, Harrison, Scott and Washington Counties to build greater alignment for the future of the region. Learn about this effort and opportunity to be involved.

Faculty, staff and the community learn about statewide service-learning and community engagement opportunities by attending the Indiana Annual Service Engagement Summit. Learning and developing how to work with community partners is the focus of The Robert G. Bringle Civic Engagement Showcase held at IUPUI each year.

In the future, visitors to this site will be guided to the Collaboratory link that will describe community engagement programs and activities of the faculty and staff at IU Southeast. The links below are a sample of the community engagement opportunities at IU Southeast.
