Chancellor's Medallion Dinner
Over the past decade, the Chancellor's Medallion Dinner has evolved into one of Southern Indiana's premier civic events—and a major source of scholarship funding for outstanding Indiana University Southeast students. The event is held annual in April at Caesars Southern Indiana.
Chancellor's Medallion Award
The Chancellor's Medallion is the highest honor presented by the Chancellor of IU Southeast. Given each fall at the Medallion Dinner, this honor is bestowed upon individuals who exemplify these principles:
- Rendered distinguished service to the University and to the community.
- Given freely of their talents in the promotion of human welfare and community well-being.
- By their integrity, sensitivity, and commitment, serve as models for students and alumni of IU Southeast.
Chancellor's Medallion Scholarship
The Chancellor's Medallion Scholarship is awarded each year to outstanding juniors and seniors who demonstrate academic achievement, leadership and perseverance both at IU Southeast and in the community. To qualify for the scholarship, students must be enrolled full-time and maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.0. Students are selected for this prestigious award based on extra-curricular and civic activities and leadership, letters of recommendation, an essay and other special accomplishments.
The Champions Dinner is designed to honor student-athletes and to raise funding for the IU Southeast athletic department. This dinner raises funds to help offset the cost of tuition for student-athletes at IU Southeast. Funds from the dinner will also be used to help provide a great educational experience for our student-athletes.
